Measurements at Millau 2009 |

During october 2009, LCPC - Laboratoire Central des Ponts et Chaussées from Paris and Cestel performed measurements at fameous Millau viaduct .
| The Millau Viaduct is the tallest vehicular bridge in the world, with one mast's summit at 343 metres, slightly taller than the Eiffel Tower and is a part of A75 highway from Paris to Montpellier. It's total lenght is 2.460m with longest span of 342m. IT was oppened for traffic in December 2004. The Millau Viaduct consists of an eight-span steel roadway supported by seven concrete pylons. Measurements on orthotropic deck bridges are one of the possible uses of SiWIM Weigh-in-Motion system. |  |
