SiWIM F, the SiWIM Front-End, is as a standalone programme which runs and maintains the SiWIM Engine and provides tools for:
SiWIM SetupA set of windows ensures that all measuring parameters are input to the SiWIM Engine correctly and as easily and user-friendly as possible.
Data displayTrucks table displays detailed information about all heavy vehicles that SiWIM system has recorded and weighed. Numerical data is supplemented by a schematic picture of the vehicle at measured axle spacings and with total axle loads of multiple (double and triple) axles.
Light vehicles are displayed separately from the heavy ones. Fine-tuning and troubleshootingMonitors windows display any configuration measured signals of strain transducer and axle detectors. This feature is essential to fine-tune the SiWIM for optimal performance and when troubleshooting is required. Calculation of experimental influence linesHigh accuracy results require experimentally calculated influence lines. SiWIMF provides tools to easily evaluate them based on strain response of any measured vehicle. Good match between the calculated and measured responses indicates that the main parameters have been correctly accounted for. Calibration and accuracyCalibration procedure is fully automatic. It compares any number of vehicle configurations (vehicle type and static loading) to the SiWIM results and calculates up to 4 different calibration factors per lane with correction factors for the first axles. If necessary, it adjusts results due to velocity or temperature dependency. Result of calibration process are calibration factors and statistical values (mean values and standard deviations) which are directly used in calculation of accuracy of the system according to the European WIM Specifications. SiWIMF also calculates and displays dependency of the results on temperature and on vehicle velocity and in real time calculates statistics of the results. This is used to calculate accuracy of the results based on the European WIM specifications.
Reprocessing of SiWIM dataSiWIMF can reprocess measured strain signals stored in nacq files. To prevent the original results, the post-processed results are always stored separately in the designated part of the SiWIM file system. |
