SiWIMD provides tools for setting different parameters relevant to WIM data assessment:

	general options,
	overloading,
	ESAL values,
	tyre effects,
	strain records and
	other options.

General options select units (metric tons or kN), language (currently available English, Slovene and Swedish, others available on request), number of undo steps, type of optimisation algorithm and different data loading parameters.

Overloading options

Overloading options specify rules for overloading calculation. These include individual axle load limits, reference loads for ESAL calculations, outlook of the axle load histograms and tolerances.

ESAL values

ESAL options define axle type factors and the power used in calculation of ESAL values. It also provides 3 pre-defined default sets of these values for easy calculation.

Tyre effects

Tyre effect options define proportion of different type of tyres (single, double or super single) in the traffic population from which effect of tyre type can be estimated.

Strain records

Strain records options define how individual measured strain signals are displayed and taken into account when compared to the calculated (modelled) ones.
